Education Consultant

About the Position

We're looking for entrepreneurial, self-starters that can help us to provide our students with top education consulting, while also helping us to establish new programming. Must live in the Bay Area (head offices in Danville) with expected travel abroad. The major responsibilities of the Education Consultant include:

• Student's academic and extracurricular achievement assessment and long-term goal setting
• Individualized academic and extracurricular activity planning
• Summer activity planning and application supports
• College application strategic positioning
• College application guidance, including essay consulting and editing
• Engagement in research projects related to academic counseling or college application

Required

• Bachelor's degree;
• Solid writing and editing skills;
• Exceptional communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams and with individuals from diverse backgrounds;
• Ability to meet hard deadlines;
• Dedication to client service;

Preferred

-Advanced degree(s) in Education, Communications, Journalism, English or related field;
-Experience in School Admissions;
